Portrait of you is a brand inspiring ordinary people to keep hold of their special moments and to be true to themselves.
Portrait of you was my final major project for my degree. My best piece of work to date and something I will forever be proud of. We were allowed to create whatever we wanted for our FMP, we just had to create a question and explore it, mine was: ‘In a world of expectations, how can we hold onto our uniqueness?’ In the world of social media, beauty standards and influencer lifestyle, ordinary people can feel lost, boring and not perfect enough. I collected people’s original keepsakes, diary entries, letters and photos which I created a book and magazine filled with to express our authenticity. As part of the brand, I create journals for people to fill themselves and hold onto their own little treasures. I made a website, Instagram and TikTok. It was all about staying true to you x
